Informative article, Stefan. Thanks. What are your relatively free-market orientated political parties like in defending the free market and critiquing welfare state policies, unions, etc.?

Whats a better alternative? neo liberal america? communism? you call social democracy but present no real existing political systems as an alternative.

"Ultimately, this artificial boom will have to come to an end, and although the ensuing crisis will likely not be as deep as in the early 1990s, the seemingly impressive Swedish boom will certainly be revealed as a fraud — just as the whole story of the success of the Swedish economic model is a fraud."

America has been the master of artificial economic booms for a very long time. Because they borrow and increase debt to compensate.

I don't understand why you would be so critical of social democracy when you cannot present an alternative. Predicting economics is like predicting the weather, half the time the predictions are wrong.
